The Plate

We have a standard 3-drop plate available in all our metal finishes. However, it is possible to have larger plates made to a specific design. These are generally for a multiple-drop of five pendants or more. They are laser cut and powder coated to a RAL number, or with options of metallic paint finishes for chrome, bronze or antique brass. In order to blend into the ceiling, the structure of the plate has a concealed back-plate with front or side fixings. All plates are provided with detailed installation instructions.

Size & Design

Circular plate sizes range in diameter from 350mm to a maximum of 1200mm. Square and rectangular plates have a maximum length of 2000mm by width 1200mm due to sheet material sizes and shipping restrictions. We can also create suspended single point lighting frames for more difficult spaces with an apex ceiling. The size of the plate will depend on the spread and number of lights in the cluster. We generally provide 3D CAD visualisations (example PDF 6.3MB) to calculate the configuration along with the drop heights.
