Heritage pubs - The Coinage, Helston
The interior of a pub or bar undoubtedly has a key role in shaping the atmosphere. Savvy Victorian landlords knew that architecture and interior decor should be designed to reflect the taste and aspirations of their customers, getting more people through the doors. JD Wetherspoons' carpets became the unlikely subject of a cult following on social media a couple of years ago for all the wrong reasons but this new renovation at the Coinage Hall in Cornwall is changing perceptions and a new era for this chain. They have used a mixture of Vintage and Opulent Optic pendants throughout the space, adding a nostalgic nod to the past, with a contemporary palette of soft muted tones.
