Desnuda Cocina & Bar, located in downtown Boston, combines retro Latin American and Asian influences with an urban, sultry atmosphere, creating a vibrant space for dining and cocktails. This latest project by Assembly Design Studio (ADS) is the work of Michael and Erica Diskin, a design and branding firm known for its expertise in creating image-driven, experience-focused environments for the hospitality industry.

Mike is a professional photographer with a background in print design and experience in high-end commercial and editorial photography. He's collaborated with top chefs and photographed stunning people and places worldwide, using his deep understanding of viewer perception to achieve success. Erica, a former real estate marketer and corporate event producer, has a keen eye for interior design and a hands-on approach to working on construction sites. Her expertise in combining classic design with raw materials allows her to create unique, impactful experiences.

We love the blend of vintage materials and bold lighting in the Assembly Design Studio's design. The transparent bespoke Nouveau Open pendants glow against the illuminated bar, while the fringed Vintage Pendants guide the eye downstairs to a dedicated listening space for music lovers. With cozy banquette seating and Vintage Bell wall sconces, the room creates a passionate, immersive atmosphere—perfect for enjoying cocktails and curated tracks.
