What makes the PERFECT PIED-À-TERRE?

The literal French translation of 'pied-à-terre' is “foot to the ground". It is a concept that is commonly related to the luxury lifestyle, a second home for affluent individuals who frequently travel to a city for business or pleasure, but don’t want to bother with its hotel scene. In the past these spaces were generally smaller and more minimalist than the owner’s primary residence and allowed occupants to avoid the time and expense of repeatedly finding new places to stay in a city. Things have changed post pandemic and these properties are not only a status symbol but also a refuge, an imaginative escape from the reality and routine of day to day life. The interiors are now a true reflection of the owner, a sanctuary of style and elegance with five star appeal.

Every surface material in this bijoux penthouse has been thoughtfully considered from herringbone parquet flooring to polished marble walls. The Standing Pendants by Rothschild & Bickers are a match made in heaven against the glorious gold lacquered ceiling, picking up accent colours around the room. Their long oriental form in antiqued gold with bronze glass lampshades are mirrored throughout from furniture to decorative sculptures. It truly is a home from home, a retreat that must be very difficult to leave behind.
