How to add character to a space
An eclectic, smoky interior is how Karolina Rochman describes this incredible project titled 'Single man', numerous passages add a touch of mystery and create a beautiful space for the residents. She is an experienced architect and colour designer, a graduate from the Gdańsk University of Technology Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Architecture at HAWK Hildesheim in Germany. You can see this at play throughout the space, the light intermingles with the interior and brings out the colour nuances of the furniture, whose deep hues resonate in the various textures of the fine materials. The walls in the hallway are lined with natural chestnut-coloured wood and emphasised with black accents. The floors are finished with a decorative marble border, creating a contrast with the dark floor and high black ceiling plinths.
The play of shiny and matte surfaces gives the interior another dimension. She has used Rothschild & Bickers Spindle Pendant Clusters in the kitchen living room, adding a refined touch of sparkle and delicacy to this rich minimal interior. The combination of streamlined cabinetry with original furniture and natural materials creates an awe-inspiring, one-of-a-kind interior.
