Bold & Joyful Colour - Kate Lovejoy Interiors

This vibrant project perfectly by Kate Lovejoy Interiors captures the essence of dopamine decor—transforming a space into something joyful, playful, and full of personality. With a background in Theatre Design and a Master’s in Film Production Design from the Royal College of Art, Kate first cut her teeth in the film industry, spending over a decade honing her skills in spatial planning, technical precision, and visual storytelling. Living and breathing design, Kate then set up her interior design business, which has been flourishing for over 15 years. Her keen sense of how colour influences emotion is evident in every thoughtfully crafted detail.

The result is a home that radiates warmth, individuality, and charm. Every element has been considered for both beauty and function, creating a space that’s as liveable as it is striking. Bold choices and whimsical touches add layers of character, balancing elegance with creativity.

We especially love the use of our colourful Large Pop Lights as bedside pendants—a vintage-inspired detail that lifts the entire room. Lighting plays a powerful role in shaping atmosphere, acting as both a functional tool and emotional anchor. From soft glows to statement pieces, the right lighting can completely transform how a space feels.
