A Guide to IP44 Bathroom Lighting – What You Need to Know

Our IP44-rated wall lights are designed for use in bathrooms and other environments where exposure to water or moisture is possible. They are suitable for Zone 2, which extends 600mm (0.6m) beyond the perimeter of a bath or shower and up to a height of 2.25m from the floor.

Beyond Zone 2 (previously known as Zone 3), there are no specific IP rating requirements. However, we always recommend consulting your electrical installer to ensure suitability for your space.

The main visible difference between our IP44-rated lights and our standard designs is that these models come with a G9 LED bulb. Available finishes are refined to corrosion-resistant Polished Brass and Polished Nickel, offering a timeless aesthetic.

Please note: None of our IP-listed wall lights are currently available in a UL option.
