Hertford Studio Sample Sale 2023
We are very excited, post pandemic, to finally have our Hertford studio open to the public for a one day sample sale on the 21st October 2023. Expect discounts of up to 50% off our RRP on all sample stock and second items. There will also be glass blowing demonstrations showing our skilled artisans at work, fun for all the family.
The sale will be a first come first served event with tickets allocated on arrival and entrance limited to avoid overcrowding. Customers can spend time watching the making process while you wait to be called and there will be a coffee stand on site to purchase refreshments. Read below for all FAQ's regarding location, products available and parking.
Why are these lights in the sample sale?
1. As all our pendants are completely hand blown, during the making we might get slight variations in the intended shape or blemishes (small scratches, ash marks, large bubbles, cord or lines) in the glass which deem the shade as a 'second'. There is nothing structurally or electrically wrong with the lights and each piece has been tested as usual to BS EN 60598-1:2015
2. We make sample shades when prototyping new product or doing trade shows, these will be in the sale.
How much will items cost?
95% of all sale items are 50% off the RRP.
How many items will there be and what products are in the sale?
We have over 400 items going into our sale, with examples from nearly all our ranges. The only pendants that will not feature in the sale will be our clear Empire Pendants and our clear reeded Spindle Pendants, Tiered Lights and Ship Pendants. We will also not feature any of our new product ranges - Pillar Light, Pillar Wall Light, Hanging Petite Ball Wall Light. There is a limited range of wall lights.
What does the price include?
All lights include the pendant (or Wall sconce), a minimum of 1M flex length, Empire ceiling rose, LED bulb (220 - 240V mains Tronic dimmable), installation instructions and all electrical connectors.
What is your returns policy for the sale items?
We want all our customers to love the lights they receive, however if your item is not as you expected please see here for our full refund policy. All return shipping charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
Can items bought at the sale be customised ?
No. All items are sold as seen.
Where is the sale happening and can I park?
The sale is at our Hertford Studio (Unit 7 Great Northern Works, Hartham lane, Hertford, Hertfordshire SG14 1QN) and there is a car park available beside the building with another large car park at Sainsbury's (which is 100 yards away) which has free parking for 2 hours.
