Swan at the Globe, London

Swan is situated at the world famous landmark Globe Theatre at Bankside. They have a series of private event spaces with uninterrupted views of St.Paul's Cathedral and the Thames river. The design concept for the dining rooms and stairwells was about luxury and relaxation, creating intimate places for informal dinners, client meetings and more glamorous events such Christmas parties and weddings. Rothschild & Bickers worked with Studio9 Design to make a range of bespoke Chandeliers mixing polished brass metalwork with textured clear glass spheres for the River Room.

We worked closely with our client Diccon Wright and then the contractors, developing many bespoke pieces including light fittings and both freestanding and fixed furniture. The outcome was a warm and welcoming, sophisticated dining space with uniquely presented private dining areas. Studio9 Design
