Coppa Club, London
The Coppa Club is set in an incredible space with uninterrupted views over the river Thames, including Tower Bridge, The Shard and HMS Belfast. The design by Archer Humphryes Architects is built around a central brass bar that is open on all sides, surrounded by booth seating and a herringbone floor. Rothschild & Bickers worked with the design team to create unique opalescent shades in white, grey and blue. The shades were hand cut and polished at an angle to create movement when hung in clusters. These were finished with Polished brass cord sets and Satinwood gold twisted flex to pick up the accent colours throughout.
Inspirations for the room were taken from the greys, blues and greens of the River Thames. The vibrant greens and teals are a contrast to the warm timbers and spun brass lamp shades. The real success of the budget is that it achieves the dynamic dining, symmetry, architectural spatial arrangement, furniture and lighting that easily competes with eateries across all sectors.
