Given the uncertainty over what the next few months will look like in terms of restrictions we have made the decision to move our annual sample sale online!
For any of you who have visited our studio sale before you will have experienced how busy it can get and if the trial online sale (in April 2020) was anything to go by we hope to be just as busy virtually.
Just so you can be prepared we have answered some important questions below:
When and where is it happening?
The Sample Sale will go live at 10am on 27th February – You can access the shop via the accessories tab on our website alternatively you will be able to find the link via our Facebook and Instagram pages.
How long do I have to shop?
The sale will be live for 72 hours so you have until 10am on 2nd March to grab a bargain!
How much will items be?
All items listed will be at 50% off full RRP
Why are these lights in the sample sale?
During the making process we sometimes get slight variations in the intended shape or blemishes (such as small scratches, ash marks, small bubbles, cord or lines) in the glass that means the shade is a ‘second’ There is nothing structurally or electrically wrong with the lights and each piece has been tested as usual to BS EN 60598-1:2015
How many items will there be?
We have over 270 items going into our sale
What items are going in?
You will have to wait and see! The only pendant styles that won’t be featuring are the Empire Pendants, Spindle Pendants, Tiered Lights and Ship Pendants
Will there be any Wall Lights?
No. This time round it will be pendants only.
Where can I shop from?
The sale will be open to customers from the UK and most of Europe – unfortunately we are unable to offer our sale products to the US market.
What about postage?
We are offering UK postage for just £9.50.
Shipping to most of Europe is available at a flat cost of £25. Please be aware since the UK left the European Union all parcels will be liable for VAT, import taxes and customs duties – these will be the sole liability of the customer. These extra charges are usually collected by the courier on behalf of the government, with customers asked to pay by local customs before their package is delivered .
How do I secure the items I want to buy?
The sale will be first come, first served. We will be implementing a basket hold of 10 minutes. This means once the item is in your basket it is ‘reserved’ and you have 10 minutes to complete the transaction – After the 10 minutes has lapsed the item will be released for general sale again.
What does the price include?
All lights include the pendant, a minimum of 1m flex, ceiling rose, LED bulb, installation instructions and connectors.
Can I get early access?
The sale will go live at 10am – there will be no access before this – best to set an alarm as we are expecting to be busy.
What is your returns policy for sale items?
We want all our customers to love the lights they receive, however if your item is not as you expected, you have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
All return shipping charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Original postage costs will not be refunded.
Can the items be customised?
No – unfortunately not. All items are sold as seen, the image shows the exact light you will receive. Details of the flex and metalwork colours are specified in the product details – please make sure you read all this information and are happy before ordering.
Are the lights dimmable?
Yes, all of our bulbs are 220-240v mains Tronic dimmable with a suitable LED dimmer.
How do I install the lights?
We recommend using a registered electrical contractor, all lights include comprehensive installation instructions.
Any top tips?
We’ve added filters so you will be able to sort the shades by colour and/or style making it easier to narrow down the choices and get the items you want in the bag quicker.
