Shipping policy
These shipping policies apply only to orders placed via our website.
All available stock items such as Accessories (Bulbs, flex, ceiling roses etc.) will be packed and shipped usually within 3 days of order placement. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
All ‘made to order’ items such as Pendants, Clusters & Wall Lights have a lead time of 6-8 weeks depending on styles and we contact customers prior to dispatch to organise shipping dates.
UK DELIVERIES
- We offer free delivery for all orders over £150 in mainland UK.
- Deliveries to Northern Ireland are charged at £25, regardless of value.
- Once your order is ready to dispatch, we use DPD Local Next Working Day as standard for delivery in the UK.
- DPD Local will send updates on your delivery once it has been booked in for delivery.
EUROPEAN DELIVERIES
Shipping Policy Update – Effective 8th May 2025.
All orders placed directly through our website by customers in Europe will be shipped on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means:
- All taxes and duties are included in the final price at checkout.
- No additional fees will be due upon delivery.
- You can shop with confidence, knowing the total cost is fully transparent and paid upfront.

Please note: Orders placed before May 8 2025 will continue to ship under Delivered at Place (DAP) terms. This means import duties and taxes will still be payable upon delivery and are the responsibility of the customer.

USA DELIVERIES
Shipping Policy Update – Effective 8th May 2025.
Once your order is placed through our website and the shipping cost calculated at checkout has been paid, you will not incur any additional import fees, regardless of current tariffs or duties—ensuring a seamless, worry-free delivery experience.
- All items imported from the UK to the USA with a total value of over $800 are subject to local import duties & admin charges; these charges are included in the shipping cost.

We ship to the USA with either FedEx or DHL Incoterm DDP.
- We use a 1-3 working day service as standard.
CANADA & AUSTRALIA DELIVERIES
- Shipping price will be calculated at checkout, and will depend on basket value.
- Any applicable taxes and duties are included in the final price at checkout.
- No additional fees will be due upon delivery.
- You can shop with confidence, knowing the total cost is fully transparent and paid upfront.
- We ship with either FedEx or DHL Incoterm DDP.
SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THESE REGIONS
We are currently unable to process webshop orders from countries outside of the above regions.
However, we can assist with manual orders. Please contact us at info@rothschildbickers.com with your desired items, and we will provide a shipping quote based on destination, order size, and shipment weight.
If you require additional shipping documentation (e.g., COD forms or stamped invoices from the Chamber of Commerce), we can arrange these at an additional cost. Please inform us in advance if this paperwork is required to clear customs—this remains the responsibility of the importer.
ADDRESS CHANGES
Please double check your shipping address and notify us if any changes need to be made. Incorrect details can cause major shipping delays and often lead to work being sent back to our studio and re-shipping charges applied. We will not be responsible for delays in supplying the products which are caused by you not providing us with the information we need.
SHIPPING CLAIMS
We have an excellent shipping track record, but in case of breakages, damage or loss during transit, all orders are insured by us and we will be happy to replace your order in full if the damage is reported within 5 business days of receipt. Please notify us immediately at info@rothschildbickers.com with your order number, tracking number and any other details so we can file a claim, an image is very useful.
